Industrial Traffic Directional Signs
Aylmer Ethanol Plant Traffic Directional Signage
Exterior Traffic Flow & Safety Signage
Project Overview
Since 2007, IGPC Ethanol Inc. has continued to expand its ethanol production facility in Aylmer, Ontario. With this growth came the need for new traffic directional signage to manage and improve the flow of daily truck traffic throughout the site.
The Challenge
Many of the required signs were oversized and demanded custom cutting to meet safety and visibility standards. The six-week timeline was tight, and because the facility operates 24 hours a day, nighttime visibility was essential. INPS was responsible for the complete installation of all signage at the Aylmer location.
The Solution
Using our on-site waterjet cutter, INPS produced both stock and custom blanks efficiently, ensuring precision and consistency across every piece. All components were manufactured in-house at our London facility, located just 40 km from IGPC, allowing for full quality control and quick turnaround.
To ensure maximum durability and visibility, INPS used 3M Reflective Materials, including 3M™ Diamond Grade™, 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic, and 3M™ Engineering Grade films—materials trusted for road and highway safety.
Before installation, our team reviewed the site plan and City of Aylmer by-laws to confirm compliant sign placement and heights. During installation, strong winds posed a challenge, prompting the team to add reinforced hardware for enhanced stability. The project was completed successfully by two experienced installers over several days.
