3M™ Dichroic Glass Finishes

Youth Opportunity Centre
Joan’s Place, New Build Signage
Project Overview:
The Youth Action Centre (YAC) provides a multitude of services for youth ages 16-24 who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in London
Challenge:
Room identification to meet AODA compliance. The legal obligations Ontario organizations must meet under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This includes making their services, employment practices, buildings, and facilities accessible to people with disabilities.
Solution:
Utilizing our 3D Printing Technology, we are able to print room identification signage. The size depends on the message. Each room name requires a room number. Braille is added to each sign in a layered format meeting the accessible design for the built environment.
